What We Believe
We feel that it is of the utmost importance to make known where and how we stand on the scriptures. We believe in the full inspiration and infallibility of the Holy Scriptures. We believe that the Bible is God's word. We believe that the Word of God was intended for man. In other words, it is God's instruction book to man. We believe that salvation is a free gift to all mankind given by God through his Son, Jesus Christ. We believe that salvation is by GRACE THROUGH FAITH. We believe that Holy Spirit convicts and convinces the sinner of their sin and points them towards Christ. We believe that baptism is the first act of obedience after true conversion has happened. In other words, it is a public display of what has already happened in the heart of a person. We believe that it is NOT a means of attaining salvation. We believe the Lord's Supper is restricted for baptized believers (church members) of the local congregation (i.e., you must be a member of the particular church hosting the Lord's Supper to take part in communion). Finally, we believe that the believer is to grow and mature in faith, spread the Gospel and make disciples.
